Zzz…Fish..

I’m still catching swordfish, no big one yet, caught 550 of them so far so I guess that’s a good progress, not much else to report since i’m not on runescape that often nowadays.

I offically hate fist of guthix, I decided to go for a big swordfish now, so I decided “May as well get 2x xp” so i went off to get swordfish gloves, I’ve never hated FoG so much in my life, level 50′s running away like they can beat me, I’ve developed a good strategy, I wear my black dhide and snare them right away so they can’t teleport, then beat on them untill they tele, then i keep snaring if they decide to be little @#^@& and run away .

I did get the gloves and caught 865 swordies so far, 200k xp from 1k swordies with gloves so it’s a good deal. And I MIGHT do the phoenix lair just for the egg since people without level 72 summy can still get the egg.

I’ve done the first real playing since about thursday today, first I decided to finally finish that bloodveld task that has been stalking for two weeks now, that easily done, I ranged 16 green dragons before remembering I had to get my penguins, I got them in less than an hour, the locations for them were so easy this week, 24k new summy xp that didn’t cost a coin, now i’m mining for some strange reason, my hand is feeling better, the asprin helps a ton skilling ftw!.

Went to the doctor today, he did a small test and asked me about my hand, it turns out, I don’t have carpal tunnel, just nerve isn’t good or w/e, he told me to use advil so guess that’s what i’m going to use, going to be a while before my arm is better, but the advil is starting to kick in and the pain is going away .

Woot.

Update!

My arm is feeling a lot better, didn’t get much done today, was mostly watching videos on youtube and doing other stuff, did some fishing and caught about 3 inventorys of monkfish before I decided i was going to fletch, I bought 200 yew logs and bowstrings and set out to fletch them. I have a wrist brace…well not really a brace, one of those things you roll onto your hand. And I may log on just to collect my miscellania stuff.

Bad news, I have symptons of carpal tunnel, early ones but still my right arm hurts horribly, I’m going to be taking a big break from runescape, because firemaking and alching did this 2 me, maybe i’ll be fishing or woodcutting but that’s about it.

EDIT: My views skyrocketed after this post, from 144 to 161 :O

The symptons are better now, I’m going to be taking it really easy with my hand now, going to see the doctor on monday or tuesday, and as long as I don’t firemake or alch i’ll probably be fine since a few hours of using my hand for normal things seems to relax it…darn my hand hurts after typing this..i’m an idiot..

The secret of man’s fire

I did a lot more firemaking, I checked a calculator, and saw that it will take me 44k maple logs to 92 firemaking, and 95k for 99. So I’ll probably stop at 92 for the inferno adze, burned about 1k logs today and didn’t do the phoenix D&D, it just doesn’t feel worth all the time and 7 monkfish to finish just for a petty amount of experience, the 5k slayer the first time was all I really cared about, since fletching, Firemaking and crafting are all easy to level, and no point wasting about 15 minutes for small xp (yes 7.5k seems like a lot for fm but I can make that in 3 or 4 inventorys of logs)

Anyway hopefully jagex will be more generous with the rewards for the phoenix, I’m going to leave my Miscellania kingdom until I burn all the maples and willows in my bank (4.5k).

Because I forgot to do this on the 1st here are my stats for january.

As you see I have a long way to 92 firemaking.

Goodness, gracious, great bird of fire!

The first combat I’ve done in maybe a week, I did the phoenix lair D&D, I had to use about 7 monkfish and one prayer pot dose for the whole thing, I’m going to make a guide page for it after this post for people who want to know an effective way to finish it, I also decided to light 6 beacons for the “Ring of FIRE!” did that at school since I’m such a slacker :\. I got my firemaking up to 64 from the beacons and the phoenix defeat.

For those wondering, I’m going for 92 firemaking for the inferno adze since it will help a lot training my woodcutting, and firemaking, plus I’ll save about 1.6m from my dragon axe.

Btw the quest gives 13k fletching, firemaking and crafting experience, and that’s all.

Hardly played runescape at all yesterday, had a lot of stuff to do so I got maybe 10 minutes in at home and an hour at school, still cutting willows but I took a break to finish the new quest. I sware they made this quest just to annoy people who have connection problems, because if you disconnect, which school computers do a lot, you have to restart the whole cave and cut all the branches again, but I got it all finished, also fletched a bit of maples to get to 70 fletching .

Heres the pic I promised in wonderful low detail from school, they updated the willows at BbA to the REAl looking ones. As you can see theres an Ent on the right most tree.

2k willows and counting

Nothing much to report, I’ve hit 2k willows in my bank now, hence the title, I would need to cut 173k willows to get to 99 woodcutting O.^ so that’s out of the question, and I would need to burn 42k maples to get to 92 firemaking so with the maples from my kingdom that may be a doable goal I’ll do some thinking.

The saratrice and zamatrice eggs sold so it’s some profit for useless eggs. Still working on the raven egg though.

P.S I’ll try to get you guys a picture soon, probably 76 woodcutting, because that’s such an achievement.
